California lawmakers have repealed the state’s controversial “medical misinformation” law meant to silence and punish physicians and surgeons who communicate and treat their patients in a way that deviates from the “official government position” regarding COVID-19...

Assembly Bill 2098 (AB 2098) aimed to empower the state’s medical board to revoke the medical licenses of any healthcare professional who spread what the state deemed as “misinformation” about the safety, efficacy, and development of the COVID-19 shots, as well as alternative treatments to the virus...

Senate Bill 815, which passed with a 35-1 vote, primarily makes reforms within the California Medical Board.... However, a one-line provision added two weeks before the vote without any legislative discussion specifically repeals AB 2098...

AB 2098, enacted in September 2022, was the first state law in the nation attempting to regulate the doctor-patient relationship regarding COVID-19. The bill defined “misinformation” as anything “false” that contradicted “contemporary scientific consensus” – namely that of the FDA and CDC...

“Drawing a line between what is true and what is settled by scientific consensus is difficult, if not impossible,” ....

Repealed before it was declared unconstitutional?

What these numerous state medical and pharmacy boards was a direct and illegal act that prevented physicians and pharmacists to provide the best care available for the patients. It was obscene.

It should be noted that India had a death rate from covid 38 per 100,000 people. The USA had a death rate of 341 per 100,000 people. That evil little man Dr. Fauci knew this. He knew that India's death rate was a fraction of that in the USA. India used HCQ, Ivermection, antibiotics and nasal cleansing. All these drugs are generic and dirt cheap.

Fauci's actions in conjunction with the CDC and the NIH probably accounted for close to a million excess deaths in the USA.

“Repealed before it was declared unconstitutional?”

You can bet there was an under the table covered up revolution coming from the industry threatening to stop practicing in the state altogether.

It would be the only thing serious enough to make them reverse course with their runaway communist agenda.

California had to repeal this law. If they didn't, a whole lot of people — including the medical boards — could be indicted for all the mis-information they passed on from the CDC.

It might have been simpler than that. Medical groups in the state could simply stop publishing anything and instead refer clients to websites run from out-of-state. The advertisers on those sites would follow.

The California universities with medical programs, or even basic clinic services, would be targeted for misinformation in lawsuit after lawsuit.

They love it when a good plan comes together as it was intended.

I listened to several videos by Dr.David E. Martin today and he claimed that the doctor patient relationship will never be the same again.

He's right.

I already dumped my doc and went to an urgent care clinic. Glad i did!

Just imagine doctors that knowingly shot up patients with bio- weapon after weapon in patient after patient and went home and acted like nothing had happened. I want no part of that BS!! It's as criminal as you can get! Yet no one will go to jail.

the handwriting was already on the wall:

“Late last month, a federal judge in California granted a preliminary injunctionopens in a new tab or window in a pair of related lawsuits filed in opposition to the state’s new medical misinformation lawopens in a new tab or window, which took effect January 1.

The move temporarily blocks enforcement of the law for individual physicians who are plaintiffs in the suits as well as physicians who are members of or represented by organizations that are also plaintiffs.”

I would say I am surprised but healthcare is government run, at every hospital you are in. I heard so many conversations about withholding treatment for people who didn’t take the trump vax, it would shock you.. even up to this year.
They want you dead for daring to disobey. Yep, even sweet nurse Nancy.
