If smart, The Chains should JUST LEAVE THE STATE. Mind-rot like this will NEVER CHANGE.
The large chains can use automation to eliminate many workers, who are already often gross and unproductive.
Mom & Pop stores will be hit hardest.
I don’t know of any communist countries...most foods that are banned are in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and parts of Europe, some in Mexico. Like I said, if you are going to eat like that be prepared to pay your own medical bills. Relying on the government for health care is what is communist.
when the government (tax[ayers) tells you how to operate your business you would think they (taxpayers) would indemnify against loss.
Thomas Sowell
The bold is mine.
How do you not get the part about productivity?
Nearly every freeway in commifonia is under construction.
[[ Like I said, if you are going to eat like that be prepared to pay your own medical bills]]
Since you espouse communism, thrn when you don’t eat “perfectly healthy” and avoid undue risks like driving or bicycling, or walking near traffic etc etc etc, be prepared to pay al. Your own bills too. The problem with your communist take is that people like YOU are the ones setting up the rules that everyone must abide by while ignoring the fsct that you don’t live a live in a bubble and cause your own maladies, i juries etc. YOU feel you are the one that should subjectively set the rules.
Zust4alia? New Zealand? Nope no tha ks- the tyranny there is too much- thankful.y we live in a nation that allows people to do as they like and enjoy the pursuit of freedom and enjoyment.
Oh, while you are at it- enter tell all the aids patients and social disease peeps they must pay their own bills too since you are going all communism on the nation.
Oh and lemme get this straight- there are no fast foods shops in Australia, New Zealand Japan etc because “thry ban it”? You can’t be serious?
Are you saying you are against the $1,000 per hour minimum wage at fast food restaurants?
.......and more people on the unemployment line.
Of course they don’t ban fast food, just certain foods like I said also.
Eighty-four percent of medical spending is for the 50 percent of people with at least one chronic disease; half of spending is for the 16 percent with three or more chronic conditions. Is this fair ?
Wow throwback Republicans watch entire industries being offshored to China and the 3rd world and all you guys worry about is how much a dishwasher gets paid per hour. Beyond small minded, we are in gnat brain territory.

Pretty funny isn’t it, especially from a bunch of people on this site collecting “Socialist Security.”
AI and robots need to replace the bloated fat at the higher levels of the economy. If it doesn’t, it’s a waste of time & money.
All fast food joints are exempt from it if they bake their own bread guess what’s going to be new on the menus.
Automation won’t happen immediately because the technology is still in its infancy.
What will happen immediately is employees’ hours will be reduced, and more temporary or part-time workers will be hired.
Nope. I doubt that. Repair maybe. But they’re not frantically Doyle dickering anything the way texas cities are.
Yes. My local McDonalds is almost fully automated. You order from a kiosk.
Cue the robots and AI; say goodbye to the workers.
Just got back from a local PA dutchy diner.
Nice pile of thick-sliced roast beef, mashed potatoes & gravy - side salad with hot bacon dressing: Spouse had the chicken pot pie, same salad. Total bill $38, plus a nice tip for the waitress. Way better than any fast food joint.
that sounds nice and not too bad for two and a nice dinner
I agree it’s better. But I just finished a double Filet-of-Fish (double patty), Friday free fries, and a Diet Coke for $8.16 and got enough reward points to buy about half of a McChicken sandwich. That’s my life.
