My daughters played ding dong ditch around Halloween and had a blast. But I live in a neighborhood where everybody does this. Cohesive.

Kids don’t know who they’re dealing with when they do this. We had this done to us. Kids walked past a no trespassing sign wearing masks. Not too bright. I’m pretty sure they could have been shot legally here in Texas.

We did a variation of this when I was in grade school. About six of us would take our little flash cameras and ring the doorbells of people we didn’t like, flashing them in their faces as soon as the door opened. It was exhilarating fun as we made our escape.

Now that I understand what ding dong ditch is, I’d say that trooper deserves a little of his own medicine. I can maybe see beating the hell out of an antifa or BLM puke that just burned down someone’s store. But a kid just having harmless fun certainly does not.
Once upon a time we used to fill a paper bag half full of dog poop and light it on fire before ringing the bell!! Then the home owner would stomp it out and walk back into house before realizing what was on his shoes!! Always a good prank for those who were not aware of it!!

I watched the video. That was not ding dong ditch. Kicking a door hard is attempted breaking and entry in the middle of the night will get you killed.
