Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” that his colleague Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) was like the fictional mobster Tony Soprano when discussing the gold bars detailed in the lawmaker’s indictment on federal bribery charges.
Fetterman said, “Honestly, I was actually surprised that I was the first one. I mean, it’s so black and white. I mean, it’s so clear. The last time there’s ever been a man with so much cash in their home in New Jersey was Tony Soprano. You know? I mean, it’s not a— it’s not a— it’s not a close call, and if you were looking for the most incriminating kinds of evidence, nobody could even come up with gold bars in a mattress. So, and again, he’s entitled to have his day in court, but he is not entitled to remain in the Senate and he needs to go.”

I hope Menendez tells these people to pound sand. Have the trial first.
What Fetterman said isn’t important. What was he wearing when he said it?
Fugeddaboudit................
Like a stopped clock, even Fetterman is right sometimes.
Did Fetterman say that or was it a body double? The last time I saw a clip of Fetterman speaking he could barely string three coherent words together.
If the Democrats were smart, they’d offer Menendez a deal. Hang in there for awhile to take the spotlight off Hunter. But don’t hang in there too long.
Resign when we think it’s best for the party. In return, we’ll make sure your charges are downgraded to something you can manage.
Fetterman 2.0 is more obnoxious than the original.
Somehow this and the Biden polls and williness to be “concerned” about his current position in the polls are tied together
Festus calling another a . . . . . never mind.
I hope Menendez blows the whistle on all members of congress who have become money magnets after taking office. The corruption is out of control.
Fascinating that the Dems are sending Fetterman out in his slovenly attire to be the face and voice for the liberal Senators.
He does that he will not just go to jail.
He will commit suicide.
Just like any other person that goes against the party
...said the vegetable.
Fetterman is just festering there in the Senate. He also needs to go.
I am fully rooting for Menendez.
He sounds like he won't step down, which is good. He'll be easier to beat in the election than an appointed replacement.
So glad to see that John has found his “voice”.
Did Menendez take money from China then give them Afghanistan?
That would be a lot worse than Tony Soprano.
