You are so spot on with the characterization of these people as “Useful Idiots”.
I have no problem with the development of EVs for people who want to spend their money on them, as long as there are people, fools will be parted with their money, but...in the end, it is their money to part with.
No longer.
Now, it is your money, and my money, that will be parted with against our will.
