I hope so, too. I can see what you mean about the humidity, though. It was very high here today, and it actually felt more uncomfortable at 88 than our 100 from yesterday. LOL! Seems like I can’t be satisfied. :I)

Hope it continues to be nice there, too. And rain. Did you get rain for the beans?

LOL! Yep, 88 and humid isn’t fun. We had pretty much the same temp but it wasn’t too humid here. No rain at all. Our best chance for rain is Wed. and maybe Thurs. and it won’t be much. The forecast changed again and we’ll be warmer than they predicted yesterday.
So much for Fall.

A very pleasant good Tuesday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks Lauren for this morning's thread.

Yesterday at Comanche Lake:

I also mowed the lawn. Grass is growing some. Went up to Duncan for an ultrasound to check on the area where they did the Inguinal Hernia surgery back in July.

How's everyone doing this morning?

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Wow, look at that BLUE sky! Gizmo approved. Happy face on that pooch. :-)

I hope the ultrasound results turn out well.

Yeah, fall is still missing in action here, too. Oh, it’s getting a bit closer, but when It’s gonna be high 80s on the first few days of flippin’ October, we need a search party!

I’ve pretty much lost any trust in the weather guys. And I don’t think all of this can be blamed on the El Niño. Everything I’ve heard, even it has been a bust. LOL!

We have mid to high 80s for the next week but I haven’t seen a longer-range forecast. Low 80s is normal. We don’t really start cooling off until late October. Just because the calendar says it’s fall doesn’t mean the temps drop right away. :-)
Your 80s are a good 20 degrees cooler than you’ve had most of the summer so you’ve definitely cooled off. We’re only about 190 degrees cooler.

Not sure who you’ve been listening to but El Niño’s done pretty much what it would normally do. A little more so since it was a strong one this year.

You’re 190 degrees cooler? Wow! Just kidding!

Maybe last fall was so long ago that I don’t remember how it was, but seems like fall used to be NOT in the mid-90s. But that’s just me. LOL!

It’s 74 outside right now. I went out to check the kitties’ food and to let Peaches in, and it felt nice!

I guess I’ll finish this show and head out. Got up a bit early to get ready to go to the lab for bloodwork. Just routine stuff. See ya tomorrow! Fingers crossed that the rain really does make it there when it’s supposed to. If not before!

Oh crap! LOL I must have clipped the 9 when I hit the zero and didn’t notice. We’re about 10 degrees cooler than we’ve been and it definitely feels better. I don’t mind stepping outside like I did a couple of weeks ago.
Still would be nice if we’d gotten the upper 70s they initially said we’d have this week. LOL

Our temps are the same at the moment and it does feel nice. It’s hard to believe that two nights ago it was 55 degrees at this time. That was a bit nippy.

You should make your appointments for bloodwork in the afternoons like I do. I make all appointments for afternoons. LOL
Sleep well. Catch ya tomorrow for the quiz.

Well, it showed a possible Hematona where the Dr. did the incision for the procedure I had back at the end of July. One of his nurses who examined me said it was going down though so we'll see.

My next appointment with the doctor is Nov 1st.

I did some computer 3D modeling for them back in the late 90s of launchers. More off base than in the Arsenal itself though.

I do make my appointments for afternoon...preferably after 2pm. But blood work has to be done before you’ve had any food or drink, so I go out there when I wake up, whenever that is. Yesterday it was a bit before 11am, but I didn’t sleep well. Probably in anticipation of the whole deal of getting it done. Not the stick itself, but dragging out of bed, the putting on of makeup [that is a MUST!!], getting dressed, driving on the NASCAR speedway out to the exit, and then back...before having tea! Oh, the inhumanity! LOL! And waaaaaay TMI! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It's still cooler here...almost Fallish. 🍂 Almost.
(((hugs)))

No migrants housed in the immediate vicinity of my school or my home, so far, so that’s good.
