No, oh dense one, NATO exists, supposedly to counter the SOVIET threat to Europe. I don’t believe the USSR exists today. Perhaps you should check.

The invasion thr'ot from Russia is why NATO was created, but for decades now they're just a money pit for these US so European countries can spend money on welfare and free healthcare instead of defense. For us, NATO really isn't much use especially when almost everyone ignores the defense spending requirements anyway. It'd be much better to go by one-on-one treaties with the countries that are actually serious, like Poland.
