Right. We could, but we are not. I will not advocate for another country’s borders to be protected using our resources while our borders remains wide open enabling a mass third world invasion.

Biden and his cohorts get 199 and 99/100ths of it back under the table. Plus we are another step closer to an all out nuclear war with Russia a Win-win for the Biden Worshipers.

That’s kind of difficult since the the S-300 can only engage vehicles and has no other guidance system, nor does it have a ballistic unguided mode.

I think you’re misidentifying the missile system.

That is fine, advocate for what you want, my point stands. Open southern border has nothing to do with aid to Ukraine.

If there was no Ukraine war the Biden administration would be doing the same regards to border

So dont help Ukraine because administration refuses to secure border

Got it

Not sure that’s entirely accurate there as all but South Ukraine and maybe Khmelnitsky has been said to be overrun by Russians at some point.

A lot of the “Russian S-300 Surface Strikes” have been found to be expended S-300s that missed their targets and hit the ground when they ran out of fuel. In fact, most of them turned out to be *Ukranian* S300s. Check the Wikipedia article for cites.

Also, British military intelligence as a source? Yeah, they’ve been thoroughly discredited for years.

Regardless, I suspect Ukraine is doomed. It was never about really protecting Ukraine and more about grinding down the Russian Federation at the cost of hundreds of billions (a 78 year dream and a great deal in the grand scheme of things). Russia can probably continue the war of the current intensity almost indefinitely (Ukraine cannot). Sure, RU will need to buy arty rounds from clients states, restrict fuel exports, but they can manage that. The Russians can endure hardship and casualties much better than the modern West. Putin can’t lose and therefore will win by any means necessary. The West (America) has eventually cut and run from pretty much every fight for the last 60 years. I don’t suspect this fight will end any differently.

It looks like financial support for Ukraine is already waning and without said $ and material Ukraine is virtually certain to lose and very quickly. Behind the scenes, I don’t think the West actually wants Putin gone, just diminished. We know what we’re dealing in regard to Putin, the next regime could, and likely would be far more dangerous. America hasn’t been good at regime change in the modern era. These are unfortunate truths, but truths nonetheless.

Dangerous decision. This isn’t an Abrams tank or a Javelin AT missile or even a HIMARS. This is as much a strategic weapon as tactical. And Russia could respond strategically, like attacks on Odessa and Lyiv, only not targeted but more in line with the ideas of Bomber Harris and Curtis LeMay.

If the US & UK hadn’t convinced them to give up their nukes in 1994, we wouldn’t be here, today.
