Why is it so easy to fence stolen cars?
Are they immediately stripped down and sold for parts?
I thought all major parts were stamped with unique numbers?
It is hard to catch car thieves because you never know where they will pop up or what escape route they will use.
On the other hand, chop shops and parts dealers need to have a permanent address.
Put the chop shops and parts shops out of business, and car theft will go down 90%.
