Mexican Drug Cartels “Seize Unprecedented Control” of Southwest Border
Judicial Watch ^ | July 25, 2023 | Staff Writer

Green reminded the panel that Attorney General Merrick Garland has admitted to the Senate that the cartels’ strategy is to tie up the Border Patrol by flooding it because the agency is practicing a catch-and-release system, allowing drug cartels to slip people into the country. The foreign criminal enterprises operate in cities throughout nation with the help of U.S.-based street gangs that have overrun American communities with drugs, according to Jaeson Jones, a former captain of intelligence and counterterrorism at the Texas Department of Public Safety. Jones testified that cartels have highly effective systems that include pushing hundreds of migrants to one location as a distraction to open a route elsewhere after local, state and federal law enforcement resources are deployed to the location flooded by illegal immigrants. They also utilize a reliable network of scouts that operates like an organized law enforcement agency to document border activity and U.S. agents around the clock. The lookouts have eight, 10 and 12-hour shifts and are equipped with encrypted radios to communicate with cartel bosses. “I’ve seen them in South Texas as far as 30 miles into the United States,” Jones said. “I have seen them in Arizona as far as 70 miles.”

Biden ought to be impeached for assisting in the invasion of our homeland. This has gone far beyond mere incompetence.

Nothing crosses the southwest border without paying 3 or 4 thousand to the cartel. NOTHING…. Every person walking across is a revenue stream for the cartel.

The most corrupt state in Europe is Moscow. They taught Ukrainian elites how, until the people rose up and threw them out. Remember that all of Hunter Biden's shenanigans happened on Yanukovych's watch, not Zelenskyy's.

It’s not a byproduct of the policy. Our policy is controlled by the cartels. That’s obvious.

Scary to think that the cartels may have suborned certain Governors, but if it IS true we're in for a very rough ride.

And what are the Republicans doing to fight this? Nothing. Silence. We like to make it a partisan issue thinking our guys are the good guys. Remember GW speech to us that we need them here to do the jobs Americans wont?

I wrote my Republican Congressman yesterday. He had nothing on his website about closing down the border, or the serious issues going on with it. Nothing. He’s not fighting for us and he’s considered to be a conservative.

This is a hot topic with me. I have lost 2 nephews to Fentanyl. One four years ago, and one last month. :-((

The news reports covering the coup on Niger mentioned that 1,200 U.S. military were stationed in that country to help fight Islamic extremist terrorism. I understand we have 30,000 troops in Poland and others in the Baltic States in case Putin, who has yet to beat Ukraine, invades those nations. Yet the borders of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California are porous. Until we control our borders, we have no business protecting against jihadists or Stalin wannabes.

“Nothing crosses the southwest border without paying 3 or 4 thousand to the cartel. NOTHING…. Every person walking across is a revenue stream for the cartel.”

I have heard much higher figures. Up into five figures. This explains how the cartels can pay up to $2,000 per head to kids to smuggle a body from Cochise County to Phoenix.
Then next for the ‘immigrant’? Human bondage.

"I wrote my Republican Congressman yesterday."

And why did you not post his/her name, district, and phone number?

Biden banks the money the cartels payed him for mainnnnnnntaining the open border

The homes and families of the cartel leaders should be destroyed by drones carrying rockets.

The cartel owns the businesses in Texas and Arizona.. The businesses pay the cartel to survive

And bidens have a direct deposit for the cartel to keep the border open.

We fought wars for this nation’s freedoms and well being. We now have a malaise hanging over our country.. And we have a congress, a military, asleep and don’t give a rip on the destruction of America.

I still advocate for the military and other LEOs set up programs for their snipers to train along the border. Both daytime and night-time operations would be part of the curriculum. Primary targets would of course be the coyotes if possible but an occasional taking of a military age male would slow things down in a hurry. The word would soon spread that it is very possible that the last thing you do in this lifetime is step foot into the Rio Grande.

Sounds harsh? Somewhat but a few examples would stem the tide by a huge number.
