Biden pick is CONFIRMED as chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff: Gen. Charles Brown - whose motto is 'accelerate change or lose' - replaces Gen. Mark Milley three years after he wore fatigues to walk Trump to church for photo-op amid BLM protest

resident Biden's pick for the new chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff has been confirmed as Air Force General Charles Q. Brown, who will replace General Mark Miley.

General Milley ran into controversy after he wore 'baggy battle fatigues' in a photo-op as he walked Trump in front of St. John's Church amid a BLM protest.

New York Times reporter Robert Jimison posted to X on Wednesday and said: 'The vote to confirm General Charles Brown as the next chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff reached the 51 vote threshold. So far, both Sen. Ron Johnson and Sen. J.D. Vance are the only NO votes.'

President Biden said that he could 'think of no one better suited or more qualified to lead our forces'.

CNN reported that this news has followed Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin's recommendation to pick General Brown as the military's next top officer, according to a defense official. If confirmed, that would be the first time in US history that both the secretary of defense and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff are African American.

The Joint Chiefs chairman is the highest ranking military officer in the country, who serves as the main military advisor to the US president, secretary of defense and the National Security Council.

Brown will be taking over Army General Mark Milley who has been in the role since 2019. Back in 2020 Milley was in the hot seat as he joined Trump in a walk that quickly turned controversial.

'I should not have been there. My presence in that moment and in that environment creates a perception of the military involved in domestic politics,' said Milley in a video address to National Defense University.

ABC News reported that following this moment, Milley considered resigning but decided to stay...

Had a chance to look at that ribbon rack. There is not a single combat related ribbon. The Bronze star without a "V" device can be awarded for meritorious service, not combat action. The majority of the rest are commendation or achievement medals or the standard "I was there" type ribbons.

Not inspiring. The guy is a manager, not a warrior.

General Milley ran into controversy after he

Called junior officers in to tell them he and they would not follow their superior officer ( cic) orders if his CCP buddies on speed dial were threatened in any way

He should be ran in front of a UCMJ trial charged with conspiracy to commit MUTINY .

and if found guilty suffer the punishment

If we want to keep our numbers in the military, we’ll have to resort to a draft.

They’re going to offer citizenship to many of these illegals if they sign up. It’s a long standing, small program, that’s about to explode. Many concerns should exist about this, obviously, whether it’s that they may be infiltrators, or ultimately become active duty mercenaries willing to follow any order, etc.

President Biden said that he could 'think of no one better suited or more qualified to lead our forces'.

That means he will be an utter disaster.

Excellent point. History is repeating, and not in a good way.

I think our military families are wising up, after Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, they’re saying no more. Even if Trump becomes President tomorrow, I doubt they’ll sign up because in four years, we’ll have another Democrat capture the White House again.

Hopefully, it's all happening in slow motion.

How many four star generals & admirals does the US military have? At the Pentagon? 40-45?
How many four star generals & admirals did the US military have in WW2? Along with what? Maybe five 5 star.

Top heavy? Too many chiefs and not enough Indians? Too much brass and not enough steel?

“Most of us do not really know General Brown very well just yet.”

Brown has already said he will be extremely race focused; wants many more non-white officers, more non-white fighter pilots, etc., and has a nasty attitude about America.

Yep. He flew an F16 in Korea to get some flight hours on his record and to get his ticket punched, but of course he saw no actual combat. The rest of his career is staffer jobs and “commander” of desks at various HHQs.
