I think this is going to backfire. No one can afford nothin’ these days.
Didn’t they lay off a large number of people not long ago?
With the way inflation is going, $20.50/hr isn’t that much these days.

MY ENTIRE CHRISTMAS LIST IS GETTING NEW CALENDARS FROM RANGE MAGAZINE @ about $8 each..Supports a good magazine & who doesn’t use a calendar???
Being a full time RV dweller (with a piece of land I live on most of the year off grid) amazon gets lots of travelers working for them. They pay a decent for entry level work an allow RVs on their property. When you have minimal living expenses and want the freedom of “van life” the job is pretty good.
I work at Am. Just when I think it’s slowing down, we get slammed. We are constantly hiring. Turnover is huge. Heard about the raise today through coworkers. I’ll be making near $22/hour. $24 on some shifts with the differential. It could be worse. I’m thankful I have a job.
Just the paperwork to do all that hiring is amazing.
