I was booked on Lufthansa to Frankfurt am Main on a 747. I was thrilled at finally getting to fly on a 747. The thrill quickly abated as I was seated between a couple 250 lb Germans who were charter members of the "bath a month" club. Gag. It was a miserable 9 hour flight. Never again. The sad part is that my reason for being on the flight was to help Lufthansa remediate their Y2K problems in the 747 maintenance software.
The "fragrant" experience was augmented by having an infant with a poopy diaper changed just a few seats away. There is a changing table in the restroom. Don't do that on in the passenger cabin on the seats.
