1. Whatever is happening UAW workers adding to the unemployments lines doe to the EPA is not happening. Unemployment of UAW workers is not up.
2. The UAW jobs at the unionized plants will be put on line if the automakers are forced to cave to the union demands. There cost of operations will rise so much that imports and non-union built cars will cause layoffs at the UAW organizaed plants.
Trump is just a populist and an opertunist playing up to a union that does not really care about the workers, the companies or this economy. The UAW is all about the one thins all the major unions care about - unionized political power, period.
