Republicans "itching" to impeach President Biden are "relying on an imagined history," Rep. Ken Buck wrote in an op-ed criticizing his own party and the hard-line House Freedom Caucus, of which he is a member.
"Trump's impeachment in 2019 was a disgrace to the Constitution and a disservice to Americans. The GOP's reprise in 2023 is no better," the Colorado Republican wrote in the op-ed published Friday in The Washington Post.

This guy must be related to Ed Buck.
Guess who wants to fill McCains shoes....
Beat me to it.
“The GOP’s reprise in 2023 is no better,”
What worthless POS. Biden took millions in Bribes from foreign adversaries, extorted Ukraine and actually bragged about it. Trump made a totally legitimate phone call.
I’ll go with Rand Paul.
Playing nice with the dems never works for the pubbies, but they keep on trying to get the dems to like them.
Pubbies need to fight dems with the same playbook the dems use. But, alas, they haven’t and they won’t.
I agree with him that Trump’s impeachment was absurd.
But how is he drawing parallels? With Trump there was no evidence of an impeachable offense. With Biden, there’s quite a bit of evidence of wrongdoing .
We don’t know yet if Biden will actually be impeached , but there’s a heck of a lot more evidence to Warrant an impeachment effort, than there ever was against Trump.
But Buck thinks that the two impeachments are the same and that there’s a lack of evidence equivalent in each case. Interesting how he comes to such conclusions.
Buck Buck...
Ken Cuck (Grifter Colorado).
This is why republicans lose.
This is off-topic, I just watched one of my true-crime shows (it’s always the women killing BTW) and Ken Buck was interviewed because he was like the DA or prosecutor back then.
He may be from Colorado, but he’s no Republican. He is, however, the reason I never donate to the GOP.
Buckendict Arnold
That's just what I came in to wonder about.
His name is Buck but he isn’t worth 50 cents.
It depends on why he is condemning the impeachement. I’d rather have the party working towards getting a good slate of candidates than playing tit-for-tat.
Impeachment means nothing without the vote to remove from office. It’s a signed letter formally making accusations, but that’s about all.
what happened to Ken Buck? nothing. he was a tea party disappointment and uniparty gope squish from the get go. CO is a very strange blue state. with 2020 hindsight, wish i hadn’t supported his initial campaign. never supported him again after his initial win, however.
“What happened to Ken Buck?”
indeed ... he’s turned from a hard-core conservative to a squish ...
it’s pretty obvious he’s being blackmailed ...
Threaten to replace Kevin McCarthy until he agrees to hold a vote to impeach Joe Biden. There's probably 20 RINOs who refuse to impeach Biden. That's find. We will get them on the record and then primary them.
