Former US president Donald Trump attacked "liberal Jews who voted to destroy America and Israel" in a Rosh Hashanah greeting sent on his social media website Truth Social early on Monday morning.
Trump, who beat US President Joe Biden in a new 2024 presidential election poll on Monday, published a list of his Israeli-related accomplishments during his tenure at the White House.
Above the list, a caption reads "just a quick reminder for liberal Jews who voted to destroy America and Israel because you believed false narratives! "Let's hope you learned from your mistake and make better choices moving forward," Trump's caption continued. "Happy new year!"
The list posted included the former president's recognition of Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights and the relocation of the US embassy to Jerusalem, something "no other president had the balls to do," as per the post.
The post also rejected accusations that Trump is antisemitic, writing sarcastically that Trump is "clearly one of the greatest antisemites of our time" in light of his achievements.
Trump caused uproar among American Jewry when he accused them of disloyalty to Israel on several occasions for not being more supportive of him, despite all the good he did for Israel.
Trump also denied connection with antisemites after meeting hosting Kanye West and white nationalist Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes at his Mar-a-Lago resort in November.

Temple? No Jew has been to the Temple in 2000 years.
Trump’s timing may be off but he isn’t wrong.
When the “CURRENT” Anti-Defamation League (ADL), formerly known as the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith, moved away from those goals, they became NOTHING MORE than a bunch of America and Israel Hating Jews. JEWS in name only.
The architecture of the argument holds for other religions, and indeed other groups of all sorts, as well.
--- "Using a High Holy [ Day ] to make this point detracts from the point. Bad form."
Perhaps not. As in the Days of Awe, it is a time of contemplation, group acknowledgment of sins, and a call to "return." To what? That is the question for each of us, individually. As a group. As a nation. I'm not convinced there is ever a bad time for such.
They can’t, Putin is Hitler already today.
The mental gymnastics for you to accept that are staggering.
Trump should STFU. He is not Jewish and it is simply inappropriate for him to be splitting hairs over who is or is not a Jew.
Say what you want, but President Trump is right on target with this.
<< Trump attacks ‘liberal Jews destroying America’ in Rosh Hashanah message >>
He didn’t “attack” them, he wished them a Shana Tova and expressed hope that they learned some hard lessons and will henceforth make better choices.
What is the size of the liberal Jew voting block?
Asking for a friend.
Especially on a High Holy Day like Rosh Hashanah.
Reminds me of Biden going to Maui to complain about his kitchen fire. Very tone deaf.
Obviouslly not a Rosh Hashanah greeting. Unfortunately like many things it seems to be about himself. I'll wait to see his Christmas greeting, I've heard one or two, maybe three, Christians are liberals too.
Israel has a name for Jews who collaborated in the destruction of Jews. They were Kapos, people of Jewish descent who were picked by the SS to oversee other Jews in the camps. Lets call liberals who support the gelding of Israel what the are, modern day Kapos.
Ben Shapiro is mistaken, they’re Jews. And of the many who go to Synagogue there are plenty of liberals, not so much Orthodox but they don’t expel liberals in their Congregations.
Trump's daughter Ivanka is an Orthodox Jew, as are his three grandchildren from that marriage.
Really?
Ever heard of Jerrold Nadler?
Chuck Schumer?
Technically you are correct...but most Jews I knew who were religious often spoke of “going to Temple on sabbath”...meaning of course their local synagogue.
Not really, it's a relatively recent word, and one can argue whether it's Italian, French or German. Obviously the Latin root of all three as well. But to my knowledge it doesn't predate WW II.
