I think the plan was that voters would've warmed to Kamala Harris by now and they most certainly haven't.
I don't know why they thought this would ever happen to begin with.
Or there is a third possibility, that the elites are convinced the people will recoil at the thought of voting for Nazi fascists, i.e. Republicans.

As we’ve commented before, since much of what ALL these folks do impacts ALL OF US, we all should have an interest in making sure that we send folks to represent us who at least KNOW WHAT the CONSTITUTION IS & SAYS.

When it magically goes their way again - in spite of the polls - their amen chorus will just ignore the tsunami of fake ballots and claim that though the voters were concerned with the shortcomings of Bidenomics, they were more turned off in the end by Trump’s racism. sexism, homophobia, and all-around icky-ness.
