They also no longer must respectively refer to each other as “Senator” so-and-so, but can instead refer to each other as simply “Brah” or “Bruh” or “Yo, Bitch”.

His ‘Brand’ is more important than decorum and respect.

May as well wear sarapes and sombreros to keep their real constituents happy.

>>I haven’t had to wear a tie at any job since I was 17, though, and I’d have to look up online how to tie one now. I think I own a tie, but damned if I know where it is.
I have a rack of them, mostly from the 70s and 80s. I last wore one to a wedding several years ago, and I did have to look up how to tie a half Windsor again.

>>All that nastiness because I don’t like wearing ties around my neck?
Those who are so insistent about wearing ties, which are obviously totally useless, are undoubtedly the same ones who are so opposed to wearing masks, which may have some utility, no matter how small.

So if I win a Senate seat, I could honor my Scottish heritage and wear a Kilt with a bagpipe in the Senate? Just wondering...

While I agree wholeheartedly that a change in dress code is needed, this is what it should be:
