Paxton should have every last one of them indicted for malfeasance and corruption.

“indicted”

no quarter

It’s time to make them play “lawfare” from inside the bars.

One thing they need to do in the aftermath of this is get rid of that STUPID clause in Texas government that impeachment immediately "temporarily suspends" a government official from office until the Senate resolves the matter. Paxton did nothing wrong but was unable to work for FIVE MONTHS until he was FINALLY acquitted by the Senate.

It certainly doesn't work that way in the federal government (Al Gore didn't become "acting President" the instant Clinton was impeached, and Slick Willie wasn't put under house arrest until the Senate acquitted him, etc.), and I don't know of any state governments that "suspend" an elected official the instant they're impeached, either. Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich could certainly discharge the powers of his office until the bitter end, and there was NO DOUBT he did what he was accused of.

As I noted, "suspending" a government official until the trial is concluded is effectively designating them "Presumed Guilty UNTIL proven innocent", and is antithetical to everything the American justice system stands for.
