I think this list illustrates how we can not trust anyone in our so-called “party”. Democrats would never do this to one of their own.

Am I missing the vote total or was it so far in his favor AP considers it obscene? No, it was stupidly close. They could have voted last week and it would have been the same.
Evidence or lack of it means nothing to these corrupt a-holes.

The only reason I voted for him is that Gore would have been orders of magnitude worse. Here's a scary thought, given what's happened to the country in the past 15 years. Would electing Hillary in 2008 been worse than Obama was and continues to be through his minions?

Below is a list of the Republican Texas House members who voted for impeachment. Remember them in the March 2024 primaries! There were only 31 members on the committee. Of them, 12 were Democrats. Your list includes numerous Republicans who weren't on the committee.

This was the initial vote to impeach Paxton in the Texas House. The vote today was by the Texas Senate to convict him on the charges issued by the House.

No. Both are controlled by the same puppet masters.

So does this mean Ken Paxton is reinstated as AG of TX?
I’m super happy to hear of this outcome. It was a Bush kangaroo event from day one. Pay back should be coming forthwith.

Great news on the aquittal.
But that's a long list of uniparty Bushies that need to be primaried.
To: Responsibility2nd
What do they mean by scandal? I haven’t seen Paxton accused of anything scandalous.

YES!
This is a good ending to a really snaky impeachment trial. Very much like what President Trump is fighting. All lies, but no one will expose it.

They deserve much more than being sad.
There will be some careers damaged from this. Layers should know to never make up charges with no evidence.

What a waste of timeOh I feel badly that Paxton had to go through this but it was a valuable lesson. First Texas needs to send the Bushes packing back to Maine. They need to be run out of the state, tarred and feathered on a rail. We should make JP Bush dogcatcher in one of those abandoned no-horse towns in West Texas.
And whole bunch of liquored up good 'ol boys in the house need to be run out of office, and audited, and reaudited and audited again and again. Just because...
