I just got over a nasty upper respiratory virus that hung on for about 3 weeks.
It started off like a regular old cold - sniffles, sore throat, mild cough.
Within three days the cough got worse. I woke up at 1:15am in a coughing fit with a glob of goo in my mouth. I went to the bathroom to spit it out and was grossed out to see it was blood. Off to the emergency room we went.
After several hours of blood draws and tests they concluded it wasn’t COVID or the flu, but an “upper respiratory virus” that cause me to cough so hard I ruptured my lung tissue. They sent me home with steroids and a cough suppressant.
Two weeks later the virus wasn’t going away. I contacted my regular doctor who prescribed an antibiotic (it had become a sinus infection at that point as well) and an anti-viral and it was gone in five days.
I did not get vaxed for COVID, but have had it 3 times, none very seriously. Prior to COVID, I rarely got sick. With the three COVID infections, this virus, and a flu, I have had more illness in the past 3 years than in the prior 20.
you can’t have the Same Virus three times
‘With the three COVID infections, this virus, and a flu, I have had more illness in the past 3 years than in the prior 20.’
so, I take it you’re in favor of shutting our economy down and forcing everyone to wear face diapers everwhere they go...
did you consider the possibility that your immunity is diminished with your advancing years? this has been known to happen throught human history...
