President Biden on Friday delivered brief remarks on the United Auto Workers strike that began Thursday night, accusing auto companies of refusing to share their profits with workers.
In a televised statement, Biden said the Big Three automakers were making "record profits" that "have not been shared fairly, in my view, with workers."
"No one wants a strike," Biden said. "But I respect workers' right to use their options under the collective bargaining system. Autoworkers sacrificed so much to keep the industry alive and strong, especially through the economic crisis and the pandemic. Workers deserve a fair share of the benefits they helped create for an enterprise."
The president spoke for fewer than five minutes and did not take questions from the press. He called for the strike to be resolved with "record contracts" for UAW workers to match "record corporate profits."
"The bottom line is that autoworkers helped create America's middle class. They deserve a contract that sustains them in the middle class," Biden said.

When is the “Biden Syndicate” going to share their millions with us? And how does a group of low IQ idiots, none of which has ever had a real job, get those millions? And NO, senator is NOT a real job.
Biden said - so what. He’s not king.
What would he call it when he Bails Out automakers ?
I have a buddy who owns a Ford dealership. He told me last night do to sone kind of settlement years back whenever a UAW member who has been hired gets laid off they still get payed and go to some kind of class every day where they basically hang out and read or sleep. He said one guy has done this for 8 years.
I never heard that before and need to dig deeper.
He said if they go on strike it’s crazy.
I’m a retired engineer.
I was into automation.
We installed stuff for the big 3.
I got paid hourly ( my insistence).
They made as much as me hourly.
I made up for it in overtime.
When I was in the field, it was 15 to 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Was on overtime by Wednesday, double time on Sunday.
Maybe they could lower their prices a little and give some back to the customer.
MSRP for 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer starts around 97K and the mid model starts at 112K.
The profits should be shared with the STOCKHOLDERS!
The owners of the company.
Biden accuses Big Three automakers of making ‘record profits’
But he doesn’t huh Moe.
Speaking of “sharing profits fairly”... has anyone looked into what portion of Biden’s profits he has shared...
with ANYONE other than members of his own family?
I’m betting his charitable donations are practically non-existent... like most typical hypocrite Democrat grifters.
????
The money he’s received is okay but it’s not okay for others aka two faced phony crook.
Take a gander at how shockingly little Joe and Jill give to charities each year.
Tax records show it.
You have to admit, Biden is big on sharing, all his family members got a piece of his corruption.
I too miss president Trump. If we are going to get complete Buicks, then I will not ever be in the market for another one probably in my limited lifetime. I am on my 5th Buick right now, but it is an older model. All were pretty exceptional automobiles; all bought used & priced right. What I have seen of the new ones show little promise of being as good as what I have right now & they are way overpriced as well.
I had meant to say complete Buicks from China.
How much of his own millions in profits does brandon share with his WH employees?
THAT’ll go over well with Ford’s board after being arm-twisted into going EV (and bribed with $30 billion in loans, likely with some form of guarantee).

Next comes the federalization of one or more large corporations, and we all know what that means...
The UAW is demanding a 36% increase in pay AND the same pay for a 32 hour work week as they got for 40 hours. I hope all sides lose.
If do do replace your vehicle, check the first letter/number.
That will tell you country of origin
