A Minnesota woman who has decided to detransition from a transgender male is suing the doctors who performed a double mastectomy on her when she was just 16.
Luka Hein, now 21, claims she was going through a tough time emotionally as a teenager, when her parents were getting divorced and when she was being groomed online by a man from another state.
As she struggled with her mental health during this time, she said she found influencers online who extolled the virtues of breast surgery and hormones. Hein then met with staff members at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, who she claims coerced her into undergoing “top” surgery and started her on hormone treatments.

I don’t think it should be legal to mutilate a child even with parent’s ok.
In that context, how is mutilating a patient with Gender Dysmorphia acceptable?
It is the threat of lawsuits like this that will put an end to such surgeries.
It shouldn’t be just the doctor. The hospitals, nurses, therapists . . . ALL who acted in furtherance of the mutilation should be held liable - PERSONALLY.
“Gave her” a double mastectomy? No, more like SOLD her a double mastectomy. And that don’t come cheap!
A divorce was part of the background for this atrocity.
I wonder if her mother approved of the atrocity and her father opposed it.
False headline, she didn’t transition to male, she just thought she did. To do so, would be impossible.
