Former President Donald Trump will not head to trial next month alongside two of his co-defendants whose cases in the sweeping Georgia election interference case were severed.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee granted motions from Kenneth Chesebro and Sidney Powell to sever their criminal cases from Trump and 16 other co-defendants.
(Snip)
For Trump and the 16 other co-defendants, McAfee set a schedule requiring all motions to be filed by Dec. 1.

Drop all charges and prosecute Willis for abuse of power and fictionalizing “crime”.
Bump!
Drop all charges and prosecute Willis for abuse of power and fictionalizing “crime”.
Fani writes to Jim Jordan threat to withhold federal funds:
“If you and your colleagues follow through on your threats to deny this office federal funds, please be aware that
<><>you will be deciding to allow serial rapists to go unprosecuted,
<><>hate crimes to be unaddressed,
<><>cancel programs for at-risk children.
Such vengeful, uncalled for legislative action would impose serious harm on the citizens we serve, including the fact that it will make them less safe.”
Fani defends at-risk children only w/ federal funds?
Same for her prosecuting serial rapists and hate crimes.
So Local taxes earmarked for her office are used for what?
Her nails and hair?
BTTT
Fani, a diehard Demorat, rigorously observed the progress of the 2020 election
<><>she “didn’t believe” the 2020 election was accurate,
<><>she “never believed” that her boy Biden won fair and square
<><>her belief was that the 2020 election was “rigged.”
Yet, she’s prosecuting Trump because he didn’t believe it, either.
Maybe she ought to investigate, and indict, herself.......snx.
<><>Democrats “just know” it is “obviously illegal” to question when Democrats win elections
<><>but it becomes “an urgent defense of democracy” to question when a Republican wins.
<><>for example, Ga DA Fani Willis did not yet know the outcome of the 2020 election,
<><>ergo, it was ‘legal’ to question it, because she was worried a Republican might win,
<><>but once Democrat Biden (cough) “won,” it now became “retroactively illegal” to question it,
<><>when a Repub questions Ga election results, they are naturally subject to harsh prosecutions.
Clearly, the monopoly on election results conversations is held by Democrats.
Of COURSE it can’t be done next month! There are several reasons, first and foremost, if Trump were to win, then they’d have to trump (heh) up some more charges somewhere else. They need this to drag on through the primaries.
Secondly, they need the OTHERS to go first so that they can get a look at their legal strategies to make sure that they can cover those exits on Trump.
Lastly, they need to see if they can get one/some of the others to flip and testify against Trump.
I’m sure there is a basketball arena or football stadium that the county could commandeer to hold the trial of all 19 defendants, thus the judge doesn’t have a valid reason for splitting off the 3 conspirators. And if the owners of said arena or stadium refuse, arrest them as aiding and abetting the crimes of the 19. (sarcasm)
“McAfee wrote in his order that severing Chesebro and Powell was “simply a procedural and logistical inevitability.”
“The Fulton County Courthouse simply contains no courtroom adequately large enough to hold all 19 defendants, their multiple attorneys and support staff, the sheriff’s deputies, court personnel, and the State’s prosecutorial team,” McAfee wrote.”
So the courthouse is large enough for 17 but not 19?
Good, keep praying.
they need the OTHERS to go first so that they can get a look at their legal strategies to make sure that they can cover those exits on Trump.
Works both ways.
Trump team also gets a look at the case they are bringing against him. That gives him more time to poke holes in it.
Also, if Fani loses against the other defendants, what does that do to her case against Trump?
what I want to know is, why was it even legal to record the phone call to begin with?
Oh man he just gave himself a lousy Christmas and New Year.
And the Georgia DA screwed up again. She’s an amateur.
<><>you will be deciding to allow serial rapists to go unprosecuted,
<><>hate crimes to be unaddressed,
For a change?
It was nuts for them to think they could bring the trials so quickly. I’m sure there’s thousands of pages to sort thru, motions to file, etc.
See post #11 by Observator. These people are morons and even by December they won’t be ready for trial.
