Hate crimes were up 20% in California in 2022, with those against transgender, Muslim and Black people increasing especially sharply. But the state is also spending more than any other to combat such crimes, including a hotline, state commission and a new round of grants to community organizations.

This so freaking insensitive coming just two days after the anniversary of the worse hate crime in American history. Islamo-facsists murdered 3,000 innocent people due to their hate of what we are. No mention of that.

Really there's cognitive dissonance at play in California. On the one hand they have state funded programs fueling hate: reparations, BLM, set-asides, rouge prosecutors, defund the police, no cash bail, steal all you want under $1000, etc.

On the other hand they have a program to "stop hate". They fuel hate constantly, and yet want to stop "hate" .I have less sympathy for the miscreants than I ever have had. Dare one call it "hate"?
