Everyone ages 6 months and older should get the updated Covid vaccines this fall, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Tuesday.
The move follows a vote from the CDC's advisory committee earlier in the day in favor of the recommendation.
"We have more tools than ever to prevent the worst outcomes from Covid-19," the CDC's director, Dr. Mandy Cohen, said in a media statement. "CDC is now recommending updated COVID-19 vaccination for everyone 6 months and older to better protect you and your loved ones."
The shots are expected to be available within the next 48 hours in some areas, the CDC said.

My sister-in-law crashed her car in the parking lot after she took the last booster - almost two years ago. She immediately suffered from dizziness, nausea and vertigo that she couldn’t shake - two years later, with no recovery, deterioration - and visits to at least a dozen doctors, the latest scan shows brain atrophy - she can no longer walk, has trouble speaking and the doctors have told her it is terminal.
The doctors also say that her disabling condition “definitely wasn’t from the vax.”
I don’t believe it and neither does my family b/c the reaction was so immediate.

I refuse any and all vaccinations. I had an extremely mild case of covid, which was clinically confirmed. My vaxxed and boosted wife has had covid twice since getting all the shots. We took no special precautions during that time, and I never caught it again. My wife has also been much sicker since getting vaxxed whereas I’m having no ill effects since I had covid. I believe the vaccine caused way more harm than it did good. My wife, as well as others I know, now regret ever taking the needle.
