Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said the impeachment inquiry into President Biden is just a way for Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) to “cling to” the speakership and fend off any immediate challenges from far-right members threatening to remove him.
“His only reason for being is to try to cling to that job,” Schiff said of McCarthy, in an interview on MSNBC’s “The Last Word.” “And he’s being whipsawed, in this case, by the Matt Gaetzs, who are threatening to bring him down, and by others, who are threatening to bring him down over the budget.”
“So he’s going into this confluence of events where he’s trying to throw some red meat to the base, give them an impeachment, and at the same time, hang on to his job through this budget showdown at the end of the month,” Schiff added.

If he is planning on yielding to Dem overspending, then he needs to be removed before the showdown.
Truth to that, Gaetz called for motion to vacate, McCarthy went from saying a vote to start inquiry to instead authorizing it directly. He’s weak, playing for time, but hopefully the inquiry will grow to something all of the Biden-loving RINOs can agree to impeach Biden over.

It would make Kamala Vice President, and the Democrats would love to get rid of Biden so that they could nominate someone more likely to defeat Trump.
One would expect the Republicans to have thought of this, of my admonition to be superfluous, but the Republicans are as feckless as the Supreme Court justices and are like the blind leading the seeing.

Abandoning justice for political reasons is a really bad idea, always.
Think about it.
Our country is divided into two camps, each with their own version of the facts and each with steadfast resolve to put political party and figureheads above the real problems in America. Take a poll, any poll, that ranks the top concerns of Americans. Neither party has done anything to fix any of the problems.
Republicans have a majority in the House. That gives them power to at least address some of the problems. They are afraid to use the leverage that they have in fear of people that would never vote won’t vote for them. Additionally, they fear big money donors won’t support them if they do the right thing. Republicans are just lazy ass pussies. They are afraid and they lack the gumption to find a way to get re-elected without big donor money.
Real patriots would do the right things today and let the chips fall when it comes to their re-elections. Quite honestly, I don’t want my congresscritter to be in Washington more than a couple of terms. That’s a sure fire way to becoming part of the swamp and being disconnected from the people.

Shiftless Schiff is kind of the poster child for that degree of tenacity, considering how he held onto the “proof” of the Russia Russia Russia “collusion” even after it blew up in his face.
The rats are running out of places to run to panic is the order of the day.
The impeachment inquiry is uniparty theatre. No way Biden is going to run again. DS actors most certainly gave McCarthy the green light to drag Biden through the dirt. Clock will run out before Republicans can get to anything beyond the puppet in the WH. Gavin Newsome, or other stooge will be the next POOS - Puppet of the Obama State. Being they control vote counting, doesn’t really matter who the stooge is, just matters they are dirty enough to control.
While this is going on, McCarthy will fold like a Walmart suit on the real issue - spending.
