A fugitive who escaped from a Pennsylvania prison just days after being sentenced to life without parole in the fatal stabbing of his ex-girlfriend was captured early Wednesday, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Details on the capture have not yet been revealed. Police have scheduled a press conference for 9:30 a.m.
The end of the 14-day manhunt for 34-year-old Danelo Cavalcante came as a relief to residents of Pocopson Township, Pennsylvania, who had been advised by officials to stay alert. Several schools within the area also briefly canceled classes amid the search for the convicted murderer.
Officials said Tuesday that Cavalcante had stolen a .22-caliber rifle from a person's home.

Nobody talks about the elephant in the room...why the hell was this guy in the country in the first place and how did he get here? Some stories referenced him trying to contact former co-workers while he was on the run. Where did he work? Who was this employer? How did they verify his I9 status?

Good question about his work history. With the wide open U.S. border, murder charges in Brazil and his Houdini capabilities, looks like we’re stuck with him for the duration (in a more secure prison facility).
Yep--And nothing will put fear into the hearts of Biden's would be border busters who are escaping murder charges in their native sh!thole than hearing about what happened to this guy.
Later today, Joe Biden will tell us he was present during the apprehension, and he placed the handcuffs on Cavalcante. Old Joe is from Scranton, PA, no joke.

Give him a few years, let him out of prison, and hire him at a Leftist university as a professor to lecture against white families, government, and policies in the United States.

This guy is showing up more than a prize 10 pt buck, on various cams, but evades multi million dollar manhunt for 2 weeks.

No, that could turn the country against these foreign criminals.
And the costs keeping him incarcerated over time will likely double the millions already spent on a manhunt for somebody that should have never set foot on American soil from the get go.
IMHO, there was one thing about this fiasco I found it least mildly encouraging. I was fairly certain he would be able to link up with others in the crimmigrant community who would aid and abet and move him out of the area. That he was not able to do that with the ease I thought he would be able to dropped my cynicism level from 100 all the way down to 99.
