Since when does NM have universal background checks? They sure didn’t when I lived there, but it’s been a few years.
A few years ago during her first term, the Dims passed a universal background check and red flag laws. All gun transactions, including at gun shows and between private parties, are subject to a federal background check. I don't know how it applies if you buy a gun at a Texas gun show from a private party (not a licensed dealer).
