DeSantis and Florida's Surgeon General Team Up Against COVID Revival
As the FDA approves new COVID shots and the C.D.C. plans to meet Tuesday, September 12, to consider guidelines on the vaccine campaign for the fall and winter season, Gov. Ron DeSantis and his surgeon general urge Americans to defy any new federal public health guidance to wear masks, take vaccines, or engage in social distancing in light of an upsurge in COVID cases and emergence of a new viral variant.
On Thursday, DeSantis said, “The FDA and CDC, they’ve basically become an arm of big Pharma. Pharma will make more money if this thing is approved and they start pushing it on everybody.”
Dr. Joseph Ladapo, the surgeon general of Florida, stepped in to warn that a new booster vaccine being prepared for release is untested on humans and may actually increase people’s chances of infection.
When they try to convince you to be comfortable and agree with things, don’t feel comfortable.
Noting this battle’s spiritual component, as everyone from Michael Matt to Tucker Carlson to Dr. Michael Yeadon has noted lately, Ladapo posed a rhetorical question: Why did so many people follow DeSantis instead of guidance to the contrary from the national public health establishment — “all these Ph.D.s and M.D.s?”
Lapado continued: “Because there is something within all of us that resonates with freedom. And that something is part of our connection with God and our connection with every single thing around us, including each and every one of us.
“There are these forces out there who are relentless. And they really are relentless. It’s not that they were ever done trying, and they’re not done now. They are relentless, relentless, with every breath that they take. They are thinking about how they can control you. To what ends, only God knows, but it’s nothing pretty, right?”
If the feds step up COVID controls now, “It’s going to be another DeSantis moment where you’re going to have to remember that experience of hearing these very educated people telling you what you should think, but then listening inside to what makes sense, right? What feels right, you know? What feels like truth? What has that feeling and resonance of truth, that clarity of truth? We all know it when we feel it inside.”
“When they try to convince you to be comfortable and agree with things, don’t feel comfortable. That is a sign, that’s something we’re endowed with from our creator, right? And I encourage you and certainly beg and hope that you do listen to it, because it will serve you right.”

I don't mind taking booster shots but I'm not elderly.
With flu shots, we have a track record so I'll take them. But I'm waiting on more information on covid shots.

They’re mixing the jab with the flu shot now. So even if they say it’s not in it do you trust them?

Unfortunately they are not. You still have to take two separate shots. The RSV shot also. That probably more important to take.

With flu shots, we have a track record, so I'll take them. The "track record" for annual flu shots is about 20% effective - at best. And that is if you believe the most optimistic government statements.
I believe that George Carlin had it right. I don't believe anything the government says anymore. I used to believe some things, but it seems like a bad bet these days.
I can pass on the annual flu shots.
I did take the pneumonia vaccination (PPSV23). Perhaps I was being too optimistic there, and certainly inconsistent. I judged that vaccine to be substantially effective at preventing pneumonia. That was in the "good old days" before the CDC rolled out the COVID-19 program.
How quaint that I actually trusted some government information back then.
I noted that my doctor advised me to avoid any other vaccinations for a six-month period after PPSV23. She told me there were a lot of bad cross-reactions with it if people took too many other vaccinations at the same time.

There has to be something in these shots they want everyone to get into their bodies and I don’t believe it’s something good for us. They’re pushing too hard and all these variants? Naw... something is wrong with all of it.

It’s in the monoclonals shots, too.

But 4D chess. I am sure our complete obedience to trumps lockdowns, restrictions and mandates save 420 billion lives just in California alone.

Flu Vaccine Was Not Very Effective This Season, the C.D.C. Says:
by Alyssa Lukpat
CDC: The Flu vaccine was only about 16 percent effective at reducing a person’s chance of getting a mild or moderate infection, the agency said. Experts said a good rate would be at least 50 percent.

Also, our flu shot loses 20-30% effectiveness every month after the shot date. In our area, flu shots are the big deal in the last 2 weeks in Sept.
We stopped getting the flu shots the fall before we knew about Covid. I got GB from the swine flu shots.
This year’s Covid shot is probably less effective than the Flu shots.

Ignore ‘em. What’s a little myocarditis compared to COVID?
If the first vaccines; “three vaccines all are very, very good,” “beautiful vaccines”,”one of the greatest achievements of mankind”, were that good these new and improved vaccines must be splendid, sublime, serum of the gods vaccines.
DJT worked his dainty digits to the bone, ignoring critics of the lockdowns and mRNA skeptics, and getting the first ever mRNA use approval despite it never getting out of a clinical trial, and he did it at Warp Speed. Trump gave you time off and cash, what did Desanctimonious and Lapado ever give you? Trust the proven plan not Meatball. /s
