We knew nothing about this “novel” virus that had ppl dropping dead in the streets in China and ERs overflowing with dead ppl in Italy. To act like you knew “the truth” then is disingenuous. You had an opinion, I’m sure, but the modeling was showing 5 million dead Americans by the end of summer. Things didn’t start to add up until much later.

that was obviously propaganda. No one drops dead while walking about in public with Covid.
What I knew had nothing to do with a “novel virus” - what true conservatives knew was that locking innocent people up was what communist China did.
It isn’t 20/20 hindsight, it is a basic understanding of liberty. All true conservatives get that. Trump didn’t because he doesn’t understand conservatism.
