Chrissy needs to get out more. I have several Liberal friends who also have lost trust in the government run school system and have chosen to home-school.
I have 8 children, all but 2 were homeschooled. the 2 that were not are now the family deviants. lgbstd groups, asexual non-binary etc. All I wanted and is required is Reading(English Grammar & literature) , Writing (Cursive aka secret code), Arithmatic, basic science, Social Studies, Acurate History and Biblical principles. That’s all I require but the schools want to use, abuse, confuse , traffic children as fresh meat for their deviancy. I once saw statistical data which claimed abuse in the teaching profession was 20x worse than the church.
