One Miami influencer has gone from wearing Gucci to prison garb.
Danielle Miller, 32, was sentenced to five years in federal prison Thursday after she pleaded guilty earlier this year to carrying out a $1.5 million COVID-19 relief fraud scheme, according to prosecutors.
The self-described con artist flaunted her wealth that included driving in a Rolls-Royce, hopping on private jets and living in a high-end apartment fueled by taking more than $1 million in pandemic-related loans meant for struggling Americans, the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts said.

One well publicized Covid fraud—with no indictments yet—was the Bishop Sycamore High incident.
The “coach” of the “football team” had the “football players” apply for loans for their “businesses” all over the country.
There are about fifty loans at about 20K each—the “players” signed the documents as the “coach” requested.
The “coach” stole one million dollars—still unindicted last I checked...
This story was covered by the New York Times and other mass media publications and was shown in a HBO special—as well as local coverage in Ohio.
The Ohio prosecutors have been asleep at the switch so far.
