I don’t like Oilprice, it is the National Enquirer of energy. I read and read and never did see a reason given for the corn belt price spike. Was it ever revealed?

$3.69 here in the ND Bakken oil field. (25% of the US Shale oil) What’s crazy is it gets shipped from ND to TX for refining, then shipped back to ND for use.

On Sunday, we paid $5.85 for regular gas. My wife’s 20 year old Lexus gets about 4-5 weeks of our minimal driving per tank full.
We may see gas prices increase by at least a $ per gallon in the next week or so.
