U.S. preschool enrollment hits lowest level since 2005

Fewer parents sent children to preschool in 2021 in a decline that corresponded with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The percentage of 3-to-6-year-olds enrolled in preschool in the United States dropped by 9.3 percentage points from 2019 to 2021, from 51.1% to 41.8%, according to a new U.S. Census Bureau report.

The 4.1 million preschool enrollees in 2021 was the smallest number since the American Community Survey started collecting these data in 2005. The decline coincides with the pandemic emergency when many schools closed because of public health and safety concerns.

Enrollment in both public and private preschools declined, according to the report. Public school enrollment fell by 6.5 percentage points (30.5% to 24.0%) and private school enrollment by 2.8 points (20.6% to 17.8%), according to the report.

From 2019 to 2021, 42 states and the District of Columbia had statistically significant declines in preschool enrollment. Eight reported no significant change: Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, Alabama and Alaska.

Part of this is the declining birth-rate which, in my opinion, is only going to get worse. But I think parents are rethinking the position that putting their child into the indoctrination center as early as possible is the best choice for their education. Even though the media tells you otherwise, most parents do not want to send their child to school only to have them return as little social justice warriors (or worse).

It must be due to a decline in birthrates, but all sensible parents would want their babies to get an early start on Woke and Marxism indoctrination.

It's important to get to children early before they start unnaturally gravitating to things like baseball and dolls.

What most of the declining rates are the birth rate. We need to give tax breaks for families and I mean two parents households and more kids the bigger the tax breaks. We are going to kill ourselves with birth rates that is less than the replacement rates. That’s why the Dems want illegals here.

The major problem at hand is structural and cultural. Women should be at home and teaching their children instead of shipping them to daycare and then preschool. That requires families with a mommy AND a daddy. That requires men to have jobs that truly supports a family. It requires families to organize and prioritize their finances. It requires the complete destruction of feminism and the elimination of the nanny state.

Then they had to make sure that the writers did not have great-great-great-great grandparents or their brothers or sisters or first or second cousins that owned slaves.
