A Delta Airlines flight from Atlanta, Georgia to Barcelona, Spain was diverted back to its original airport after a passenger experienced an "onboard medical issue," which was reportedly a case of "diarrhea all the way through the plane."
The website FlightRadar24.com shows Delta Flight DL194 was about two hours into its eight-hour flight when it turned around over Virginia and headed back to Atlanta.
A user on X, formerly known as Twitter, who appears to devote his page to flight material shared audio recorded from the Airbus A350 that was broadcast on LiveATC.com.
On the recording, a pilot tells air traffic control, "This is a biohazard issue."
"We’ve had a passenger who’s had diarrhea all the way through the airplane, so they want us to come back to Atlanta," the pilot added.
A Delta spokesperson confirmed with Fox News Digital there was no emergency landing because of the biohazard situation, but the flight did return to its original airport.
"Delta flight 194 from Atlanta to Barcelona returned to Atlanta following an onboard medical issue," the spokesperson said. "Our teams worked as quickly and safely as possible to thoroughly clean the airplane and get our customers to their final destination. We sincerely apologize to our customers for the delay and inconvenience to their travel plans."

I haven’t seen any either, but it’s probably just a matter of time, before some enterprising individual, figures out they could make some money, and installs coin operated toilets on aircraft 😁😆😊😄 /S
Wasn't "run for the bathroom" a Taco Bell slogan some years ago?
delta is the sh*t !
I was once on a local flight in China, and a guy came down the aisle and dropped trou and took a huge sh*t in the aisle. The FAs just came and put paper towels on top of it. When we deplaned, everyone walked over it and the cabin smelled as one would expect. 🤮
Yet another reason I drive and do not fly. Just drove 5,000+ miles on a trip recently.
Proposed in an interview years ago by the notorious O’Leary.
See, I knew it. Someone beat me to it. I guess it didn’t work out. Maybe they figured it wouldn’t work, unless all airlines had them. 😊😆😁😂😄🤔
That projectile anal explosive colon blaster does have a way of blowing through clothes as the victim races toward the front of the plane to hopefully find an unlocked bathroom.
The secondary victims sitting along the isle with fecal matter dripping off their faces aren’t real happy either.
The third set of victims, those who have to clean it all up, are cursing their choice of employment the entire time.
At least they all have an interesting story to tell their grandkids one day. Hopefully with video or at least photos to prove it.
Prediction: We will find out a militant homo male flight attendant would not let the person go to the restroom.
LOL, I was waiting for some one to post that scene from SouthPark.
He’s gonna need a snow cone for toilet paper
How Gauche!...
It was something like that, yes.
I will never eat Haribo Goldbears because their commercial is so annoying.
I was on a little overhead prop shuttle from Denver to J.H. Wyoming. This guy farted and stuck up the whole plane. We all knew who it was because he was looking around at everyone. Wasn’t the only turbulence on that flight...
Id Delta is bad, the others are terrible. We prefer Delta if we have to fly.
Unfortunate but I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often. I ate at the Burger King prior to departing LA headed for Nashville. I got food poisoning from the food there. Halfway through the flight I had problems. By the time the plane landed in BNR I had bloody diarrhea. Luckily I was able to control it then which was impossible later. Classic staphylococcal toxin enteritis.
Supposedly got into the A/C
Brings a whole new meaning to “the excrement hitting the air conditioning”
Apparently, Secretary “Bootie-juice” was flying commercial that day.
