So far, I’ve only seen two masked people in the past couple of weeks. They’d pretty much disappeared and they’re still a rarity around here.
The masked Karen I saw in the grocery store a few days ago appeared to be looking around to make sure people noticed her.
This neighbor of mine and her neurotic overly fake vaxed daughter who I am certain suffers from covid vax injury drives me crazy with their covid obsession.
That lady is going on a two month vacation Friday and I can’t wait until she is gone for a while. She is packing up her 18 covid test kits to take on her journey. What a kook.
Two weeks ago, I got some takeout food (a very rare treat - I do my own cooking 99% of the time). Next door was a sports bar & it was jam packed ... on a Tuesday night! They have a porch with windows that open up - it was a very pleasant evening. Two blocks away, at the ‘Sunset Grill’, the parking lot was full, lots of people still arriving, several groups ...
The thought occurred, as I sat at the stoplight, that this was the closest to the old ‘normal’ I have seen and people seemed happy to be out with other people, having a good time at both of these places. The first hints of potential mask mandates were just showing up in the media. After what I observed, I just don’t see people, at least not the ones out that night, going back to those very dark days.
Make her day...point and laugh.
