Of course there was no difference when the GOP was in charge of the Senate - they were fast tracking Dem judges just like Schumer, and of course Schumer would have pushed through a record number of conservative judges like McConnell did and would have stopped Garland in his tracks, and likewise would have gotten Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett on the Supreme Court in the face of overwhelming opposition, just like McConnell.
