A day after freezing up at a press conference, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell publicized a letter from the attending physician in Congress that cleared him to continue working.
The note from Dr. Brian P. Monahan, written Thursday, attributed Mr. McConnell’s momentary paralysis to “lightheadedness,” associated with his recovery from a concussion he suffered in a fall five months ago. It also said the episode could also have been caused by dehydration.
“I have consulted with Leader McConnell and conferred with his neurology team,” Dr. Monahan wrote. “After evaluating yesterday’s incident, I have informed Leader McConnell that he is medically clear to continue with his schedule as planned.”

In his position “working” involves communicating with people.
When he freezes up and is incapable of communicating he is not working.
They said, "..."
Then they were escorted away.
Mondo bizzarro!
“TBIs (traumatic brain injury) can cause a seizure right after the injury happens or even months or years later. Researchers agree that the more severe the TBI, the greater the chance the person may develop epilepsy. Age and other medical conditions may also play a role in whether someone develops epilepsy after a TBI.”
It looks like an absence seizure.
When he freezes, is someone supposed to reboot him?
I wrote this on another thread — The Turtle might be having seizures. This happened to my husband before he was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and the neurosurgeon said it was a seizure. Given The Turtle’s fall and concussion, it is possible. The doctors examining these DC minions are bought and paid for and will say whatever they are told to say. JMHO
Turtle McConnell has become a poster child for why six years is too long a term for a Senator. A four year term is long enough for a lying weasel to remain in office.

He froze up when a reporter asked if he was planning to run again. Oh, the irony.

It was probably the same doctor who cleared Fellerman. I read that they think McConnell is having petite mal epileptic episodes following the concussion.
It’s not the length of the term its age and number times the person is returned to office.
Repeal the 17th Amendment!
State legislators couldn’t do worse!
You also might not need term limits. Every state legislator and state grandee would see themselves in that seat, there would’ve plenty of competition for it.
That wasn’t lightheadedness or a Fetterman moment he had you could see it on his face he thought he was a goner.
Never heard of a dehydrated turtle! Does that make him a Tortoise?
A. lying to us
or
B. trashing PDJT
when he is having his "time out".
Some turtles live for 150-200 years...

I understand what you’re saying but consider Fetterman. He’s pretty far gone and is going to be there for five more years. Also consider Feinstein whose fitness to serve has been questionable for a long time but she remains in office not being removable until 2024.
Presidents are elected to a four year term. Governors serve four year terms (except for Vermont and New Hampshire which are two years). Two year terms for House reps.
Perhaps we should re-visit the term lengths of senators. It may not solve the problem but a lot can happen to a person’s health and ability to serve over a period of six years. Just saying.
Nah, he has all the clear cut signs of Parkinson’s disease. Masked favors, slow inertia. Looks to me rather like he missed a dose of Sinemet.
Sorry… masked facies. Freaking autocorrect
where we HAVE no representation, and we are being told what is what - regardless of what transpires in front of our own eyes.
Nailed it.
