New York City’s initial, and deadliest, COVID wave in 2020 started spreading weeks earlier than previously thought, according to a new analysis.
The probe, conducted by conservative think tank The Empire Center, determined that the deadly outbreak began spreading about a month earlier than it was believed — in early March.
“With the benefit of hindsight, it’s now clear that New York’s outbreak began a month or more earlier and spiked six times higher than shown by the available testing data, which was scarce in those early days,” the report concluded.
“The infection rate likely peaked around March 19, three weeks earlier than previously believed – an insight that might have significantly changed how officials handled the crisis.”

Yeah, just about the time they imposed the fake PCR test and killer protocols...
Excess Deaths, of all causes, began their very sharp spike in NYC in week 12 of 2020. This aligned with Covid attributed deaths. So the All Causes nature of Excess Deaths proved unimportant. It was Covid killing those people in NYC.
The graphs are clear. Week 12. If this article declares a different time frame — that is not consistent with the data.
Come on nyp- do some actual investigstive journalism and tell us the TRUE number of people who died FROM covid rather than just WITH covid!
I REALLY hate this quote, but it fits, “At this Point What Difference Does it Make” when the “Wave” started?
The Response was F-ed Up. Science was ignored for Liberal Talking Points and CONTROL!! People died due to Political Incompetency.
Persecute the COVID Cult, and stop worrying when a “wave” started.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Predictive programming propaganda narrative here is;
“We didn’t get to the lockdown tyranny soon enough last time so we’ll have to impose our tyranny sooner this time...for the good of the community and for your safety”
IMO “when” it started is playing into what may well be a fiction that it “started” at all, at least as a broadly communicable dread disease.
In March of 2020, when wearing masks were just beginning, my nephew, his wife and I went to a Jazz group performing at a smallish theater (maybe holds 500 people) at Columbia University. None of the three of us wore masks. None of us got Covid.
