A man suspected of crashing a car going 100mph into an Uber - killing its three passengers - has a lengthy rap sheet and was on probation in a murder case.
Gregory Black, 31, is accused of speeding into the vehicle that killed Juvelyn Arroyo, 23, Veronica Amezola, 23, and Kimberly Izquierdo, 27 at the intersection of South Vermont Avenue and West Century Boulevard in Westmont, Los Angeles.
Black - who is a known gang member with three felony convictions - is said to have run a red light in his white Mercedes-Benz at 5.25am and T-boned the Uber, causing the fatal impact.

I don’t understand how the citizens put up with this. It’s gone on long enough, and too many innocent people have been impacted by the horrible policies.
I don’t understand how he could afford a Mercedes
This is to be laid at the feet of George Gascon the criminal-friendly DA who fully supports “no cash bail” b/c “it’s discriminatory.”
He is also personally and fully responsible for the recent spate of brazen, violent smash and grab robberies - that will put even more stores out of business. HE wrote the legislation that lowered shoplifting of up to $950 as a misdemeanor, not a felony.
All efforts to recall him have been successfully quashed - not enough valid signatures and other lame excuses.
The only thing we can hope for is that he is voted out of office in 2024 - but I suspect with California’s mail-in vote fraud and legal vote harvesting, he’ll win in a landslide - maybe with 81 million votes, like old Joe Biden.

One does not simply vote oneself out of tyranny.
I was reading with mild concern until I realized that this was in LA.
Too bad. So sad.
Not my monkeys, not my circus (monkey should not be taken as a racial slur, I would guess hispanic rather than Amish).
I don't know what year Mercedes the perp was driving but I do know that luxury cars become surprsingly cheap when they're 15 years old and have 180,000 miles on the odometer.
This is why you see them all over the 'hood.
Or perhaps he just stole it.
“…in his white Mercedes-Benz”
Had to be a white involved somehow.
The guilty party has no photo for this article.
Everyone else, all his victims do appear.
The media needs to get over this hiding the identity just because someone is a minority. The public has broken that code.
Practically everyone in LA has at least one murder conviction.
Loose women out partying. They were asking for it. Allah is merciful!
Good that you included a disclaimer, else we would flag you for being racist!
We are watching you!
(That's what Leftists would have us do: Voluntarily tie ourselves in rhetorical knots, constantly disavowing any possible misinterpretation of what we were saying, apologizing in advance, employing euphemisms, resorting to Blandspeak, etc. so as to render us practically incapable of presenting a coherent argument.)
Regards,
Same
No photo of perp?
Or how these DAs are still walking around. The murders they let off are sometimes gang related. You would think they would figure out who the real culprit is.
Just because it was a “Mercedes” doesn’t mean it was “new” or in good condition. It could have been a 20 - 30 year-old POS with dents, peeling paint, rust stains and broken windows. Take a trip through South Central LA (da’ hood) and take a count of all the crappy Cadillacs, BMWs and Mercedes-Benz vehicles rolling around that sh!t hole.
Surprise, surprise, surprise. This story will get a pass by the liberal left Democrat supporting MSM.
Selling drugs, maybe?
Dodge Charger or Dodge Challenger?
