Basic Medicare, part A, doesn’t cover prescriptions, nor does Part B unless given in a hospital stay.

Some insurances that you buy, Part C or Part D, as ‘supplemental’ do to various extents. Some with co-pays, some none.

You will have to shop around for you best ‘fit’.

The annual Medicare booklet they send out has all the plans available in your area/zipcode, in chart form, with a list of what they offer and cost..................

Fair warning, it’s LOOOOONNNNG, at least here in Florida.

Many insurance companies and a lot you’ve never heard of.

Not all policies are available in all counties and can even be restricted to just a few zip codes.

Here’s some handy government(?) links.........

In regards to Eliquis, he’s taking credit for something that already was going to happen.

It was supposed to have a huge price drop this past January. Humana already had me set up to get it at the new, MUCH cheaper, price.

Then, a few days before the date, Pfizer withdrew it and moved the date to 2026.

Pfizer, along with all the others are full of ex-government execs they hired. They most likely got wind of the policy, or even formed it themselves!!....................
