Personally I would not have an issue a liberal Project Veritas if it pulled off the same type of success that the original Project Veritas was able to do

Bingo! Most especially those in a position to influence a Trump WH. As a matter of fact, it would not need to be a "liberal" Project Veritas. Indeed, that may be exactly what O"Keefe plans to do.
I’d start with Mitch McConnell, but I’m guessing they will start as far to the conservative side as possible.
But to be honest, most people from the past who were into this gimmick....wanted CNN, WaPo and Facebook to be the targets.
