Not for small modular reactors. Time frame is more like 5 years. And even the old-style reactors could be built much quicker if not for the continual lawfare from the watermelon crowd.

The 20 years to go online does not necessarily refer to the construction but to the delays caused by lawfare.

I have heard of smaller ones, thats still a pretty quick build, but many smaller ones coming on line faster would be a good solution.
