Hey there, radu!

We got a sprinkle last night and less than a sprinkle this afternoon. I’m fed up with it. LOL! But I must say, it was a lovely 88 for a high, so I’ll take that instead!

Glad you finally had some. Will that help with the crops as they get ready for harvest time?

Glad you got a little something but I well know your frustration at not getting a nice steady rain. Your area is desperate for it.
Yay for that 88! Bet that felt REAL nice!

Since the rain’s through for the night, I went ahead and dumped the gauge a few minutes ago and it had .8 of an inch in it. That’ll make Dusty’s soybeans happy. As for most of the crops around here, they were planted a lot earlier and are through growing. The stalks and plants are dying so the rain did nothing for them.
Dusty’s beans were planted late because he had to wait for his winter wheat to dry out enough to harvest. They haven’t even bloomed yet. Maybe they will now that they’ve had a good drink after two HOT, bone-dry weeks. It’s going to be a very late harvest this year.
