(NEXSTAR) – The COVID-19 public health emergency may be over, but the spread of the virus sure isn’t. COVID hospital admissions jumped another 21% last week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported.
The summer surge has some people – who haven’t donned a COVID mask in months – wondering if they should dust off their N95s.
We asked three medical doctors if they thought the rising cases and hospitalizations meant masks are needed now. For Peter Chin-Hong, an infectious disease expert at UCSF, the rationale hasn’t really changed.
“Masking remains an inexpensive and portable way to reduce risk as always,” he said.

Anyone who abides by what these liars tell them, you really gotta question their life choices.

“...reduce risk...”
In fact, reduce risk by infinitesimally small amount. So small, it is impossible to measure.

Further, the BA.2.86 variant has sparked concern because it appears able to evade existing immunity to the coronavirus, according to The Washington Post.

Screw off. Seconded.
I’ll take my chances with diet, exercise, and getting as much natural vitamin D as possible.

As election year rolls around, the left desperately takes all possible measures to bring us back to the chaos of spring 2020. I remember that. To the people who brought it to us I have only this to say: “x&%4fhH(!>.!”

Dr. Chin-Hong is someone I advise against ever seeing for medical purposes.
If a doctor is either that stupid, or indoctrinated enough to actually put forth such an ignorant statement, then such a doctor only cares about either ideology or money.
POS doctors have to lie when their boss, the Federal Government, tells them to.

It is a coronavirus, and defense against it is defense against whatever spike protein is on its surface. All of which is well known— supplements, D3,Vit 3 3gms/daily, NAC, Quercitin, Zinc, and ACE blockers (to block the receptor for ACE2 in the lungs) this is all well known. The “vaxes” are not vaccines, and never could be.

wondering if they should dust off their N95s. Dust off? I chucked all of mine in the trash ages ago.
And I'm not buying a new one unless I need to crank up my belt sander (where masks actually work).
