Anti-woke businessman Vivek Ramaswamy has been deemed the “real winner” of the first Republican primary debate, according to a J.L.Partners/DailyMail survey released Thursday.

The survey asked registered Republicans, “Who do you think was the REAL winner of the debate?”

Twenty-two percent chose Ramaswamy, followed by 21 percent who said former President Donald Trump, despite the fact that he was not present at the debate. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis followed both Ramaswamy and Trump with 20 percent deeming him the “REAL” winner of the debate. No other candidate came close, as eight percent said former Vice President Mike Pence, six percent said South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, five percent chose former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and three percent said former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum:

Who do you think was the real winner of the debate?

Ramaswamy 22%
Trump 21%
DeSantis 20%
Pence 8%
Scott 6%
Haley 5%
Burgum 3%
Christie 3%
Hutchinson 3%

The survey also asked respondents whom they believe had the “BEST debate performance.” Again, Ramaswamy took the lead, as 28 percent said he had the best debate performance, followed by DeSantis (27 percent), Pence (13 percent), Scott (eight percent), Haley (seven percent), Christie (four percent), Burgum (three percent), and Hutchinson (two percent). p>The survey was taken among 504 registered Republicans who watched the debate and has a +/- 4.4 percent margin of error.

Indeed, Ramaswamy had a few breakout moments, facing off against Haley over her support of financial aid to Ukraine. During the exchange, Ramaswamy asserted that

Maybe...but do you have any evidence of strings to the *scholarship* fund?

Do you think I'm a fly on a wall?
However, being a foreigner (or the child of one)
might be considered a string, in and of itself.

Or did you conveniently overlook that part amongst the wealth of information you have?

The scholarships I got...

Did the scholarship require that you be a foreigner or the child of one?

Wouldn't his parents still have to be foreigners for him to qualify, even as an adult?

That means they're not naturalized at the date of issuance. Or fraud has been committed.

If they're not naturalized then their child is a USC 8 alien child, granted citizenship legislatively due to birth by soil, not blood.

That also means he isn't a NBC, nor his he qualified to be POTUS.

Sticky wicket, old chap.

Not having seen the neither the contract nor the parent's
naturalization status...well it leaves many questions.

The Swami won—he was in your face and said things that should have been said.

Lol- for instance the Constitution is the spark the powered the American Revolution. I guess the GPT module had a bug during that exchange.

0bama seem to have something symbolic behind his head the few times I happen to him while scanning the TV.

That’s what this guy needs. Makes them look angels here to help.

Thanks

That his parents were Hindi immigrants from India is fine with me IF THEY WERE USA CITIZENS when he was born

otherwise we have yet another Ineligible candidate

(Obama, Harris, a guy I really liked from Texas, etc.)
Of course, since much of the rest of our Bill of Rights has been trashed by the leftists... Amendments 1,2, etcetera
and nothing has been done to restore our rights

chances are this, too, will go unmentioned
