Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) sees no downside in the U.S. supporting Ukraine in its war with Russia, arguing Friday any attempt to rebuild the old Soviet Union must be challenged.
Romney’s belief it is in America’s interest to send the funds and supply the materiel of war to Ukraine was made during an interview. Blood and treasure is spent in a worth cause if it foils Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, was his argument.
The Utah senator, and failed presidential candidate, declared:
"The single most important thing we can do to strengthen America relative to China is to see Russia defeated in Ukraine. A weakened Russia deters the CCP’s territorial ambition, and halts Putin’s vision of reestablishing the old Soviet Union. Supporting Ukraine is in our interest."
This is not the first time Romney has looked at Eastern Europe as a suitable battleground for America to take on Russia, even if it means spending billions and billions as the porous U.S. southern border leaks illegal migrants into the country and a host of other domestic problems demand to be tackled.

Isn’t Romneys kid invoked with the Ukraine blackmail on American politicians and their offspring?
Is Romney demented?
He knew.

Yes he did. Meanwhile, the 3/4’ s of Robotyne that the Ukies have taken ( after three months) is being pounded by Vlads thermobaric bombs- slaughtered.
Vlads thermobaric bombs have no equal in the Western inventory. Think Artymovsk ( Bakmut), where thousands of Ukies could find no safety from them, no matter which basements they hid in.

” arguing Friday any attempt to rebuild the old Soviet Union must be challenged.”
I’m more worried about the aggressive expansionist totalitarian nation that pushes state atheism, perversion, child indoctrination, mass drug use, the largest mass domestic spying regime in human history that takes half of everything it’s citizens do in taxes, penis chopping pushing revolutionary socialism.
The sooner Ukraine is gone, the better.
Didn’t Mitt’s kid work in the Ukraine just like Hunter ?
Russia is not down with the globalist agenda. Which is why NATO was militarizing their border with Ukraine.
How about he stop this country from turning into the Soviet Union first.
He’s so utterly predictable. War war war.
It isn’t just Biden that’s causing all the damage.
In fact, I’ll go so far to say that Biden doesn’t know what time it is. His puppet masters are the ones destroying the place.
And they’re getting a lot of help from the ‘Right’ and folks like Romney and the rest.
Romney makes me question the intelligence of Utahans.
Biden and his Chinese and EU allies are more communist than present day Russia.

Go make sure you magic underwear aren’t in a twist there mittens
Wrong Mittens, Putin doesn’t want to re-build the USSR, he wants to rebuild the old tsarist Empire—with him as Tsar. That or the “Third Rome” to reestablish the Christian Church to Europe (if they like it or not). In any case the Communist USSR is dead—But, something will replace it and that something might not be very nice.
So if China could completely roll over a weak Russia, and take its vast oil, gas, mineral and forestry wealth, China would be weaker relative to the USA. Uh huh.
For a few billion yuan, I’d say that too.
For Putin to rebuild anything, he needs to sell his fossil fuel at a high profit.
The obvious win-win strategy is to go full steam unregulated fossil fuel world wide. No war. No depression. Just Economic growth as far as the eye can see. ... except for in windmill futures.
Poor little Mitt...every sentence he utters has to have the word Russian in it... He sounds like a scared little boy.
