On Wednesday, October 4 at 2:20 p.m. ET, every TV, radio and cellphone in the United States should blare out the distinctive, jarring electronic warning tone of an emergency alert, accompanied by a notice along these lines:
“This is a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System, issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, covering the United States from 14:20 to 14:50 hours ET. This is only a test. No action is required by the public."

Xi winks
” Will the alert still sound”
I doubt it. There may a msg when you turn it on. Don’t really know.
30 MINUTES WORTH ?????????
Isn’t that blocking phone communications????
THAT is a good idea…
“This is an EAS alert. Get your covid shot. That is all”.
EXACTLY
Not to worry...they’ll screw it up then blame the Russians.
I doubt one’s cell phone is every really “off”.
It’s the fact that everything we do is monitored, with our concent. We choose to carry around a cell phone, that’s our choice. Smart TV, Alexa, etc is again our choice to have.
There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling the transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image; make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: there is nothing wrong with your television set. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to the Outer Limits.
The Outer Limits Opening and Closing
Turned that .... off long ago, so I’ll miss it, sadly.
Six weeks notice. I am sure there will be a cacophony of noise about this leading up to the day.
But…on the date, at the time, some people will be “triggered” to the point of requiring Xanax because their phone beeps.
I will have to make a note to be online to watch the whining that afternoon.
I don’t think these types of alerts can be turned off as they override the entire cellular system. It will last a few seconds…and then life will carry on.
These systems are useful and need to be tested. I’ve seen them used in weather events. A few seconds of distraction is worth it.
This is nothing new. The government has ALWAYS held the means to overtake ANY mass communication system. Perhaps ham radio/CB stuff is an exception—but they’ve always had the ability to take out radio, telephone, TV and CATV. I am sure they can pull the plug on the internet if they wanted.
When it is NOT a test, you get one (or both) of the following:
Citizen, remember. When the national alarm sounds,
remove the sterile safety cover from your free government
injector and apply it to your skin...
I once was the GM of a cluster of CATV systems. I remember the first “briefing” I had from the regional tech and legal managers. I was given a booklet that I needed to keep with me at all times. It included the process for taking down all of the channels and putting up an emergency message on ALL of the screens.
I guess the look on my face was evident. The legal guy said, “Yeah, put this in your nightstand. Don’t let your kids know what it is. And NEVER do this. Just know that you can.”
Probably saving America will require everyone to smash their cellphone and throw them in a monster pile. Mix that crap up really good.
That is their method to control us. Oh and do not get those modRNA jabs either.
BTTT
When we all were getting checks for covid lockdown i had never linked my accounts to the state IRS etc and sure enough they just direct deposited our relief money into our accounts bastards
