If only Harrison Floyd’s first name were George. If only he’d been a convicted felon who passed a counterfeit bill, filled himself with illegal drugs, and resisted arrest. If that were the case, he’d have had millions of dollars flowing to him from Hollywood and Democrat politicians, and he’d have been a media hero. However, Harrison Floyd isn’t a thug of color. Instead, he’s a retired Marine vet, living with his family and getting by on his pension. And he’s also a black Trump supporter, which is why he’s rotting in a Fulton County jail.
One of the important things to remember about all this Democrat criminal lawfare against anyone who dared support Donald Trump is that it’s intended to destroy them economically. A great lawyer can cost close to $1,000 per hour (although, if he’s decent, he’ll hand the work to young lawyers and paralegals who will cost $300-$400 an hour). A good lawyer will cost about $400 an hour. A mediocre lawyer will cost about $250 per hour.
What this means for a client is that even a single court appearance on a simple matter (preparing documents, travel time, time spent in the courtroom) can result in a $1,000 to $4,000 bill. On a single complicated motion, you’re looking at $25,000 to $100,000 in legal fees. (Maybe more; I haven’t worked on a big case in about 15 years.)
If you’re rich, you can probably absorb this for years. If you’re middle-class, you can absorb this for months before your savings are exhausted, and you are no longer middle-class. And if you’re poor, you can’t afford this at all. Moreover, the public interest lawyers who line up to represent the George Floyds of this world tend to be leftists. They’re not going to volunteer their services

Bond not band
He won’t be. There’s no bail set. There’s no judge. Due Process violation.
He should have his bail hearing Monday and then the set his bond. We have to make sure he has enough to meet his bond once it’s set.
Yes. Me too.
I’m quoting Floyd himself ..... his words WRT his dilemma.
Ok. I’m in.
I heard the hearing. He didn’t think bond would be required because he didn’t have a record. The judge denied him bond on the basis that she felt he was a flight risk because he was a felon (he’s not) and then she kicked his bond hearing up to McAfee. The judge was very unprofessional and stumbling over words because she was twisting the law so much. Travesty regardless.
“Better for Trump if he pays the guy’s bail (assuming bail has been set).”
That’s a nice trap for Trump. He does what you suggest and they add a charge of witness tampering on him.
So why isn’t Trump helping with this guys legal representation?
He told the court he had no private lawyer. So who’s this guy on Newsmax?
The LAUGHING white female arraignment judge denied bail calling him a flight risk and at risk of committing more felonies on the pretext of the pending misdemeanor federal charge in MD. Her condescending and giggly demeanor was disgusting.
She said he’s welcome to represent himself since he didn’t qualify for a public defender and can’t afford a private lawyer.
The lawyer for the DC indictment. He’s arranging for a GA lawyer. Most of these guys are only licensed in one state and can’t practice in another.
Amazing all the black robed folks overstepping or otherwise misusing their position. Maybe they forgot they have their own court date before thee Judge in the not so distant future.
Floyd turned himself in but said he couldnt afford a lawyer......
he said the judge told him he should hire a lawyer or represent himself.
Travesty.
Their is nothing leftists hate more than a strong black Conservative.
Thanx for the reply.
Thanks. I missed that part obviously. This whole thing is upsetting to witness.
She was so unprofessional I was stunned. On top of it, I don’t think she followed procedure. She needs to be removed.
Is the echo in the room? I keep hearing the same negative comments from the same person..........
Good question because as of this morning he did not have one.
